Title: Mounting my SCSI hard drive
Post by: wildstar1063 on September 05, 2007, 01:25:20 AM
What is the largest partition that can be mounted
 using Amiga OS 3.5?

I have a 36 Gig SCSI drive, and I was going to partition
 a 2 gig "System:" drive and a 2 gig non-dos partition for
 Amax, and put the rest in to a "Work:" partition,
 however that partition will not mount.

I thought OS 3.5 had support for large drives. Anyone have
 any Ideas how I can mount a 32 gig partition?

Thanks

I vaguely recall reading a 20GB limit, but... I could be way off base. You can definitely do more than 4GB though. Also, I don't recall if that 20GB number is per partition or per drive.

Isn't there an OS3.5 FAQ on the net somewhere? I'm pretty sure I found one on Google pretty quick when I was reading up on 3.5 and 3.9 OSes.
