 Open the drawer Devs/DosDrivers. Click once in CD0: icon, then hold (right Windows key on peecee keyboards), then hit "I".

 In the opened window, change the CD unit to 1 (if that's your configuration). Click on save and restart () (, on peecees).

 Or drag the CD0: icon from Devs:Dosdrivers to Storage:Dosdrivers, if you don't want to access the CD driver from the emulation.

If that previous tip does not work, try changing the ASPI driver to another one on the MISC tab in Winuae.

the unit should be the scsi id of the cdrom. can use sysinfo to get scsi info if you do not know what it is.

@carvedeye

You shouldn't use the Amithlon CD for WinUAE. Get a real OS 3.9 CD, for example from here (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=153).

Thomas

Original OS 3.9 does not ask for cdrom.device. That's part of Amithlon (a.k.a. AmigaOSXL).

Some old CD drvier packages also used cdrom.device. But there is no such thing on WinUAE and it does never appear during installation of OS 3.9 (unless you did something very strange).
