Title: pci ethernet on mediator

Am i able to use a standard pci ethernet adaptor on a mediator setup?

Yes you can using  PCI Ethernet 10Mbps cards and PCI Fast Ethernet 100Mbps cards..but dont know what chipset is supported...If you have MMCD from Elbox you can read what model is suported!!

Try to find realtek 8139C chipped products. Sometimes D working too. I tested SMC, Genius , Edimax.

8139B works too  ;-)

Most cheap 10/100mbit NIC's you find in stores today have the 8139 chipset but check first to be shure.

Please remember that in order to use a 10/100 MBit card on Mediator, you need to have a Voodoo card installed. A plain Mediator with only a 10/100 MBit network card won't work, but it will work fine with a 10 MBit card.

Mostly aimed at people new to Mediator, as it's not clear on Elbox' site, only in the docs.
