Title: Paloma IV module in 24bit?
Post by: Akiko on August 30, 2007, 11:47:44 AM
I'm having problems getting my Paloma TV module to work properly in 24bit screen modes, getting the prompt "Could not open video window"
It all works perfect in 16bit resolution, is this a know problem for 24bit? I'm using the latest version of P96

perhaps the 4MB of vram the pIV has, is not enough to support overlay on 24bit wb screens...

Try a lower 24-bit screen resolution.

@keropi @alexh

Yep done the trick at 800x600! Guess will have compromise with 1120x832 16bit and keep the Paloma  :-)             Is there any real noticeable benefits having a 24bit workbench?

honestly not (above all if you have 4 MB of VideoRam)

I'm still using 16bit, even now with a 8 MB videocard (CVPPC)
