Hi,
just digging through my paperwork today and found a PD list that I somehow obtained back in the days when you used to go into a computer store and they would hand you a folder with A4 lists of the latest PD disks on offer.
It contains lists of Demos, Slidshows, diskmags, Utility, Samples, Games & Fonts for that snapshot in time (1990ish).
For example:
A571 ACME MEGADEMO, selection of demos from the group Acme. Best Demo is the Banana scroll.
A591 (1mb) CULT Megademo. One for the collectors amongst you. A series of demos with decent soundtracks.
A126 - Fraxion Presents the FORGOTTEN WORLDS SLIDSHOW. This slideshow has lots of fantasy art for you to feast your eyes on.
Etc etc...
It might be of some use to someone looking to complete a collection of some sort? or just looking back to see what demo titles had been out to search the net for.
It's about 30 double sided pages long and will go in an A4 envelope. So if you want it, let me know and Ill post. Sorry UK only, else the cost might get a bit high.

Im guessing no one wants this info, last chance, as it is heading to that great resting place in the Recycle box.

Funny, only a week or 2 ago someone was looking for the very information, but then gave up. But yeah, more effort than its worth.

I'd consider scanning it and storing it somewhere on Internet for historical purposes, there might exist a webpage somewhere collecting everything related to PD collections.

I'd be interested, I don't mind scanning it and upping it to my site, I'm in Australia though.

Hmmm, OK so you got me feeling guilty it was bad enough finding this site after throughing out all the software boxes (not software), just before I moved.
I will see how much it will cost to pop in the post to Oz. Otherwise if there is any UK takes willing to take up the job let me know.
The BIN will have to wait for its feed, oh how the wife will be pleased - NOT!

I think it's definitely worth scanning and sending to aminet/docs/list.

Hi just an update, finally got round to putting it in the post, should be with Mr Highlands soon.
