Post by: TjLaZer on August 25, 2007, 07:47:43 PM
Anyone ever repaint their A4000 to an original color?  I actaully want to just paint the top metal case.  Whats a good spray paint color to pic that will match?

How picky are you? Be aware, it's a real PITA if you want to get it perfect. A few years ago, I tried to paint a trashed GVP A530 case... picked out several different colors which looked very close, and despite lots of time and patience, it looks mediocre. (The dust inclusions are real hard to avoid.) Basically, it's going to look "Krylon-ed" no matter what you do.

You may want to find a *good* professional painter who can color match and shoot it properly (a high quality auto paint like Glasurit or Spies-Heckler would look pretty amazing).
