Thanks for the offer but a completly different drive and will not work on an Amiga.
-
sorry but not shipping outside the U.S. Just too much expense and potential for problems.

day and a half left...
7 watchers at this point!
-
You're loosing a lot of potential bidders by making it a US only affair, I know I would have bid on it.

Well you can count me out as I am a watcher but you refuse to ship outside of the grand old USA!

Can you all tell me what you'd use a 5ΒΌ" floppy drive for? I've got 2 of them hooked up to my A1200. The only thing I use them for is to read old M$-DOS disks. :-?
I tried to use an MS-DOS CP/M floppy disk reader under PC-Task 4.4, but it bangs the metal & wouldn't work unless it was on a real PC.

sorry to those outside the U.S. but I need to unload a bunch of stuff quick and clean things out. Shipping outside the U.S. has created issues for me before and increases the expense making it hard to estimate costs.
As for the uses for this drive, I'm only guessing but I'd say it would be for its collectible value only or to hack the case and use it as something other than it's original use.

btw, far less rare but a necessity for some...
1084 RGB monitor FA also...

I hadn't thought this item would have so much interest!
...3 bids so far and quite a few watchers.
It's amazing how much interest there still is for unusual Amiga items.

You only got four bids and someone got a cheap drive!
