Title: A600 case wanted, and additional A600 ramblings :)

I recently acquired a very nice expanded A600 (cheers :pint: to a certain amiga.org member), which I want to restore to its original glory. I already have a new keyboard, sooo I'm down to finding a case before the fun begins!

If anyone has a mint/near mint case they would like to sell, please shoot me a PM. I'm not expecting it to be free or totally cheap; I'll consider any reasonable deal.

I also have a new A1200 case (AmiTech version) for trade(?), if  anyone is interested. The case is a 9/10, clean, brand new and completely un-yellowed, but has a few light scuffs which are barely visible at certain close angles. (Not noticeable in normal use/viewing.) A little Plexus would probably clean it right up. ;)

On a side note, this is my first A600, and I'm really diggin' it. (I may even show it to my g/f, LOL.) I plan to add an IDE-Fix w/Express adapter (if it clears the accelerator, otherwise I'll try to source a PLCC riser), CF-IDE, some *quiet* cooling, and a wireless network card. Should make a fun little WHDLoad machine. ;) I'll add some pics to the gallery when she's all finished.

I mailed the guy, and he's going to let me know if he finds a good one.

Seems like they're not *that* rare, I'll just have to be patient. Tons more A600s/parts in the UK than over here, that's for sure.

There's a Spanish retailer advertising them as well, but they don't answer emails about the condition, and with shipping it's like 70 USD... IMHO just a wee steep for amiga plastics, LOL.

I have a brand new case that has broken side clips.  I didn't know how to open them and I broke it the first time I opened it up :cry: .  If this will help then let me know.
