Title: 68040 thing on Ebay
Post by: McVenco on August 23, 2007, 10:40:33 AM
Link (http://cgi.ebay.nl/Acht-Liebhaber-AMIGA-ATARI-MAC-Schnittstelle-68040_W0QQitemZ150154047190QQihZ005QQcategoryZ8142QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Does anyone have any idea what this might be? The connector doesn't seem Amiga-ish...

Look like it could be attached to an A1000 side expansion.

Looks very much like a ram expansion for the A1000.

It does indeed. And the E-bay auction doesn't really show anything that remotely resembles an 68040 processor, so it might as well just be some extra memory.

Anyway, I don't have (or want/need) an A1000 so I'll let this one pass :-) . Or is the A1000 side-expansion slot compatible with the A500 one?

It's just an A1000 RAM expansion with a sticker on it!

You mean Wiener Schnitzel? Quite different from a weiner, I'd say...
