Anyone else have experiece installing this software?

Hey,
you're welcome to send me a mail (address at www.iospirit.de in "Imprint") and discuss the problem. I've never heard of such a problem before.
Best regards,
Felix Schwarz

Thanks, i sent you an email.

If you're using a directory on a windows drive (No hardfile or real amiga HD) then make sure all the flags (ie read only, security settings) are correct. Don't have fxpaint but did have a similar problem once.. Not sure this was because the file was read only on the windows side or on the Amiga side.. Either way, check the tooltypes as well..
If that's not helping, maybe somebody else has an other idea.

You should of course update to the latest version of AF (5.3) or at least update WinUAE to the latest version (0.8.22R7). Earlier versions had lots of problems with directory emulation (files appearing as directories and similar).
Bye,

I have the latest version actually. :-)
It must be something i've done lately, maybe i'll remove AF completely and retry with new install.
It's funny though, every program i try to run needs this library or that or it doesn't run, you get that library and then something else stops working.
Bit of a headache, i'll try reinstall :-D

Did this actually get solved? I'm having the same problems here. :(
Would've been nice to have this running on my laptop running WinUAE.
