Well since I can't seem to find this posted anywhere I thought I'd toss up a link myself :-)
I just found this video of the HxC USB Floppy Drive Emulator in action on the HxC homepage and figured some people here might be interested in seeing it too.

Very interesting device, supporting an interesting number of different platforms and probably supporting even more in the future. It even has the schematics available (not the source code sadly).
It seems a flexible hardware, maybe even it will can be able to emulate carts if someone modifies it with the necessary changes.
