Title: External SD/FF question
Post by: vic20owner on August 18, 2007, 04:17:47 PM

I noticed the DCE external scanmagic has a switch on the back... anyone know if it'll allow me to disable the SD so that productivity mode (with vgaonly) will pass thru (un-scandoubled)?

When I had an internal SD (sold a couple years ago) I found that producitivy mode with VGAOnly installed was a LOT better on my LCD than scan doubled NTSC Interlace... (because Interlace NTSC flickered like crazy).

But with there was no way to disable the internal version so I had to physically switch connectors.

Try a productivity screenmode and see if it works that way.

This has something to do with FF/SD. Could my Amiga 2000 system be reporting it is ECS without it actually being so? What chip numbers should I be looking for?
