Got my results for the OU course I needed to pass to get in to Uni. Pass mark was 40% and I got 78% :-D
Of course this means I actually have to go to Uni now, which is both terrifying and exciting. Fingers crossed in 3 years time I will be a Speech and Language Therapist :-)

Especially if he's driving up there :-o

Are you a 'mature student' going back to uni or are you a 18-20 yr old?
The reason I ask if you are going as a mature, i didn't relise you could as I regret not going uni to start with.

I went to the UCE from 1998 to 2001 to do "Business Information Technology". Had a great time and met loads of great people. Enjoy it while you're there as the time will fly by.

I went to Uni as a "mature student", I was 21. I think in some ways I got a better experience by doing so. My mum started a degree at the same time and she was...er...I probably shouldn't say ;-)

Where did you here that brummie accent from - a Devonian ?! ;-)
some of the words were a bit more black country though the ordering didnt make sense... :-)
(not that I'm a local - just lived here for 10 years!)
@motorollin...
whats the oh sh*t bit about ? I'm reight jealous I am ! wish I could afford to go back to uni!
are you going to reside there ? are you taking an Amiga with you?
-
Oops forgot this thread :lol:
@reddwarfer
I'm 24 - not sure if that qualifies me as a mature student or not...
@Agafaster
The "oh sh*t" bit means that instead of just thinking about going to uni and doing a degree I actually have to *do* it now. I have no idea how much work it's going to be and whether I'll be able to hack it. I'm living at home and taking the train to uni every day, so my Amiga will be staying at home with me :-)
