Title: Booting games from HDD?
Post by: fleischer on August 08, 2007, 10:46:55 PM
IM new on the amiga scene so treat me as one, no fancy names I dont understand:).

Here is the thing. I have a HD on my amiga 1200 that I wanna fill with games, lots of games.

But I dont wanna "burn" them to floppys before being able to play them. What I need is some simple mounting device for the games.
Virtual floppy sounds lika a nice program but that only supports "raw" amiga files (Am I correct here?).
And what I have heard not many ADF files are in that format.

So is there a program thats fairly easy to mount all my ADF files on the hard drive making lika a virtual floppydrive or something?
Or can I install them on the HD to make em work?
It must be fairly easy I dont wanna wait 30min to play a new game :)

Thanks a lot for all the help.
