Title: Monitor cable
Post by: Bart1260 on August 08, 2007, 09:03:46 AM
Does anyone have information about wiring of Amiga monitor cable (23pin female -> 9pin male)? I have lost my cable... :-?

1084 digital (http://pinouts.ru/Video/C1084d_pinout.shtml) /  analog (http://pinouts.ru/Video/C1084a_pinout.shtml)

Amiga video port (http://pinouts.ru/Video/AmigaVideo_pinout.shtml).

Just a matter of connecting the wires and you're good to go.

There are plenty of places to order these from for cheap, and of course ebay too. Building one would be pretty simple, but finding a 23 pin connector to use might be a challenge.

Not a challenge: simply grab a paralel port from a dead peecee, cut the outmost right two holes and you get a RGB 23 pins male-conector.

1084 digital / analog

If you have a different monitor, better check the connector pinout for that particular model, as they might (or might not) be different.

NO excuses, DIY cables bring you closer to the machines you love.
