Post by: ElZorro on July 23, 2007, 08:56:29 AM

Well, it seems at least it's got a SCSI card and an external drive. I'ld say it's a fair deal for 40-50 euro, not more. If it's got accelerator/gfx board or other niceities, of course it could be worth more.

It certainly looks like a clean system in very good condition, although the picture with the screen shot is a bit blurred it seems to be running with KS 2.0.
For the price and if you want an A2000 (its big) this a very good deal so buy it before someone else does.
If you don't like it you can sell it on and probably make a profit!!

I would say its a nice deal since you get a 1942 monitor (multisync).

However keep in mind if you want to take your A2000 to the extremes (060, hi-end GFX board) and you are not an A2000 fanatic you would be better of with another Amiga like A1200 or A4000.

I would go for it, as it seems to have at least a HD and a monitor.
Remember to remove the battery once you get it home.

He already has an A1200, so it seems it's an extra for him.

Pieter (ElZorro), I have bought an A2000 myself a little while ago and have added some goodies to it. I like the 2000 a lot because of the possibilities you have when it comes to expanding it. The amount of cards you can fit inside is extraordinary. Another plus for me is the fact that most chips are socketed and therefor easy to replace.

All in all, the A2000 is a very nice machine. If you can lay your hands on one, go for it. Beware though: as soon as you can get one, remove its battery as it will most likely have started leaking and thus, in time, will damage the motherboard.

Todolist for my A2000: find a networkcard and a SCSI-harddrive.  :-)

Hi Jiffy,

I placed an amount of 45 euro for a start, mayby he is willing to pass!

I will wait and see.....
