Title: End day on a sour note...
Post by: Mallette on July 16, 2007, 11:34:17 PM
Well, I can reformat the new drive to conform to 2gb total.

However, in order to get some immediate satisfaction I put the original drive into WinUAE and copied the libraries directory over.  This was what had originally shut me down.  I was elated when it appeared to work...then, during user-startup execution, Asmimtunes and Discchanger caused an error with a suspend/reboot message.  I suspended, went on, and SimStation appeared.  I logged in, but when I tried to start a module, the LaserDisc failed to open and I got the Asimtunes/dischanger failure message again.

I've examined the physical connections in SimStation and do not see a problem.

This is a major bugger since the custom software in SimStation is totally out of my league, and I doubt if even the guys who wrote it could figure it out...even if I could track them down.

Anyway, I am quiting for the day and give it some thought.
