Title: Srceen error? (black line)

last 7-8 days I have small problem..On my screen I see error...have some black line on scrren..And when I resize window or wb screen black line is gone...And that problem is on always here..At the moment is OK..but somtimes is here..

Is any know what is problem please tell me..

Using os3.9+bb2 patche's BlizkKick,Cyreq,mcpassign,powericons  that is all!!

Such kinds of corruption usually happen with bad-written or buggy software or hacks randomly writing to memory locations they don't own. For example FBlit can cause such things if not configured properly.

But it can also be caused by a defective RAM chip or overheating.

I sometimes get such lines after loading JPG or 24bit ILBM pictures into PPaint.

hmm..Maybe PowerIcon's? now I downgrade to version v1.05 maybe will be better!

Test chip RAM whit two progy from Aminet MemTes (v1.0 22.11.99 Axel Dorfler) and memutil (v1.0 98 Stephan Fuhrmann)  both program say memory is good...And I try copy files in chip RAM is OK..no crash!!

..I test before whit MemTest 1.0 20.5.2001 desdisoft by Fernando Martinez..and only this progy say chip have error? but dont know why..other progy say IS OK..and no any crash!!

hmm...Now after three hour testing wiht PowerIcons v1.05 no black line on screen!!! Maybe 1.6 is buggy or dont know what is ..maybe wrong parameter..

Both version i test whit this line Run >NIL: PowerIcons NOGHOSTSELECT Textmode=0 betteroutline SCROLLSPEEDUP GHOST=100

..and for now 1.05 is better..no black line  :crazy:

hmm..and again I have this {bleep}y problem  :evil: Problem is not all the time here..But is coming time to time..dont know why? The same Amiga is cold or warm :) Today I have this "black line" is here when load pics on wb screen whit fastjpg,or when opet any txt file on wb screen or other activ screen....and after resize "screen" all is ok .. aftre power off/on Amiga problem is gone..and now is all ok?
