Getting my new tattoo at 11:00 today. I'm scared! :nervous:

A 'W' on each arse cheek? ;-)

The thought never crossed my mind mate, its the "takers" that are camp isn't it? ;-)
-
Not necessarily, but thank you for reaffirming my butchness :lol:

Now that's a word I only ever associate with big fat lesbians. :lol:

Well the tattoo is done :-D It looks great! No photo yet as it's still wrapped up, and I promised Cecilia she would be the first to see it, since she did so much work on the design. I'll post a photo later on.

Ooooh, is it Amiga related then?
-
Well, it was paid for by selling my Pegasos :-) But other than that no, I'm just showing off.

Bloody hell, it must be a big one to cost the price of a Pegasos!
-
It is :-D But it didn't quite cost what I sold my PegII for.

Well tell us what it is then. :-)

Very nice.
Thank God you didn't have any boing balls on your arm. Don't think I could have pretended to like them. :lol:
-
If this takes off we can have The Tattoos of Amiga.org!!!! :lol:
-
@moto
Looks good mate, must have hurt like hell though. My tat is only little and it was enough to persuade me not to get another :lol:
@cecilia
Hmmmm, Tattoos of Amiga.org, that would be interesting :-D
-
@CF
At a push I might allow myself to be geeky enough to have a C= logo or an Amiga tick, but never a boing ball :-)
@Cecilia
Yeah great idea! Tattoos of amiga.org would be cool :-)
@Adz
Some bits were more painful than others. The bicep was pretty bad, so was the small part of the shoulder on to which the tattoo extends, but by far the worst part was he tricep. That was so painful I was biting my tongue to take my mind off the pain in my arm...
Worth it though :-D

You should have had 2 Nurofen, 2 Paracetamol and Codeine, and a spliff.
Thats what I had before my tongue piercing and i felt nothing. :lol:

I did consider taking pain killers, but they can thin your blood and cause more bleeding. So I decided to just grit my teeth and put up with the pain :-)

I'll send you a video... actually the way it's going with the ladies... I might have to open up my options a bit...
For some strange reason most women seem to take exception to a guy who dresses strange and likes to wear make up... weird huh?

Compared to me... you kinda are.... as Karlos put it, I'm like an emaciated Chis Lowe...
There's no quick and easy way to bulk up... I just have to put the time in at the gym...

It can't be *that* bad that you're considering defecting :-(

You're obviously going to the wrong pubs. Unfortunately pubs which are friendly towards guys in unusual attire and make-up will probably not be conducive to pulling a *woman*...

Better to be one thing or another. I'd much rather be either skinny all over or bulky all over. Currently I'm stuck with horribly skinny arms, legs and chest and flabby belly and chin. My other half thinks I've got body dysmorphia - but I just think I'm ugly :inquisitive:

Doesn't always work mate. I think I've hit my de-scrawnification limit :-(

Well, you must have done a pretty gut job of sucking the gut in for your earlier photo then.
Very few people are satisfied with their appearence. Even the ones that have no reason to be.

Actually I got a fair bit of female attenton after the gig.. sadly they were all much too young (There is no way I'm going the Langham/Glitter route)! They had to make do with a signed photo of the band...

It used to be so easy during my uni days...Now when I wander up to Camden I just see little kids being annoying...

Well, it probably is BDS... We all need to worry about something...
I know what you mean about skiny arms, I can get the rest of me to react to training, but the arms and abdomen just won't do anything... really weird...

Again, I fear you may well be speaking the truth... Still, my stamina and fitness levels have never been higher, and that is probably better than muscle definition.
-

I find that if I suck my guts in really hard and then stoop forwards a little, I can get the flab to crease in a chimerical mockery of where I remember my at-the-time perfectly defined abdominal muscles being 15 years ago...

Musicians normally do ok at pulling. You need to find some groupies of consenting age :-)

Annoyed at you being there, or just with life in general?
Bloodline wrote:

My doctor has agreed. But I choose to bury it as much as possible. Therapy to "fix" it would stop my need to improve myself. While that might work out great, looking at it from where I am now I just see the result as an even less visually attractive version of myself (happier or not).

Well you're a few body parts up on me then :-)

Meh, I don't care about actual fitness. I just wanna look good :-)

"chimerical mockery" :lol:

Aye, it sounded right in my head as I posted...
More or less spot on, really (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=chimerical+&x=0&y=0) :lol:

Well, I already look good... ;-) No, I started going to the gym after I broke up with my long term girl friend, in an effort to improve my physique, but the side effect of fitness has been somewhat more useful ;-)

Arise, arise now dear thread, free yourself from the cold, dark clutches of death... Let your hedonism make the blood stream through the fleshes again..
ARISE!

Could you try and look less happy about you new (or rather old) tattoo?

No, pretty much everyone I show it to says that ;-)
bloodline wrote:

It's not easy maintaining such a strange posture, holding the camera, pointing it in the right direction and pressing the button. So that's a look of concentration. Also, I may have been in pain at that point :-)
Hmm, just noticed that the picture is back-to-front. The tattoo is on my *left* arm! [EDIT] Fixed... [/EDIT]
