Title: amazing news from Holland
Post by: ElZorro on July 10, 2007, 08:07:11 PM: Thrue a dutch auction-site I read a message of a guy near my place who gave all his amiga stuff away for just a bunch of flowers!
I phoned the man, introduced my self and asked if he still had the mentioned parts:
(first in dutch, than translated)

de amiga 1200 4mb met veel toebehooren veel software wie het wil mag het komen halen tegen een mooie bos bloemen.

The Amiga 1200 4MB with many accessories, al lot of software Who wants to have, has to pick it up (trade) for flowers

He explained some contents: monitors, cd-player, many many disks, video editor... and many more....:lol:

I was suprised all the stuff wasn't sold yet!
I told him I am going to pick it up thursday, I will keep you in touch! :lol:
I will try to specify all the things, maybe one of you is looking for something special.

Flower is a euphemism for girl parts. Maybe you could stop at a taco stand on the way in. :oops:

I once went to a really small computer shop and after producing the computer board from the newspaper ad he wanted me to go with him to his house behind the shop to see more stuff? My weirdness detector was already at "red alert" so I got out fast and never went back.
