Why Elbox made Dragon (i see some presentations that it is almost as the speed of a 68020 - fact - workbench) instead of Shark PPC?
How can I see Amiga OS 4.0 software, but i see no page selling Amiga OS 4.0?
Who did the excellent Amiga OS 3.9? Amiga, Inc?
Is Amiga OS 4.0 so well made and simple, like Amiga OS 3.9 was?
I read somewhere that Amiga OS 4.0 was not made in Assembly, because they wanted to do a cross-platform OS. If I can compare, I would say that a 68060 PPC+ RTG running OS 3.9 is faster than a PPC @ 400mhz/ OS 4.0? Right? -I mean, the speed - Main feature of Amiga Computers - is gonne with OS 4.0?
I heard that Amiga OS 4.0 was sold for 25.000$ (the same price as a Renault Clio) - Is that true?http://www.amiga.org/uploads/smil402e47bc493f4.gif

The only question I can 100% sure reply is:
OS3.9 was maded by Haage-Partner. Amiga.inc hire they to make the S/W.

Amiga Inc doesn't actually program anything. Everything OS wise and such is outsourced if they actually pay that is. Amiga Inc itself is a joke to say. Hyperion wrote 4.0 but dont expect to purchase it any time soon due to a legal battle with Amiga Inc.

Hyperion-Entertainment (http://hyperion-entertainment.biz/index.php%3Foption=com_frontpage&Itemid=1.html) has this web-page posted about AmigaOS 4. It's loads faster than 3.9 due in part to the new slab allocator for all memory allocations (not to mention that it runs on PowerPC processors with 10x the processing power of a 68060). The downside is that you need an old CyberStorm PPC accelerator in an A4000 and a not-yet-released "classic" version of AOS 4 to adequately get AGA compatibility from it. Everybody else has to depend on EUAE to emulate the old chipsets for the AGA and ECS games. Anything written for Picasso96 graphics and AHI-compatible sound cards will run great, however.

....which works admirably - even on a G3 CPU.
some reasonably hardware bangin' '040 AGA demos work quite well in Full screen mode.
