Title: Module Player for mobiles
Post by: Ancalimon on July 02, 2007, 04:19:43 PM
I have a Nokia N73 and I want to be able to listen to modules with it without needing to convert them to mp3. Is there a program for it?

Actualy I want to be able to make them ringtones. Is it possible?

For S60 there's UltraMP3 but N73 is a 3rd edition phone and I'm not sure if they're supported by UltaMP3 yet.

"UltraMP3 loads and plays music in MP3 and OGG format, as well as MOD, XM, IT, S3M"

MikMod (http://mikmod.raphnet.net/) has been ported to Java.  It's the mod player that is used internally by SDL_mixer (and therefore SimplePlay on AmigaOS 4.0), not to mention WinAMP on the PC.

The best mod-player for the N73 would probably be SceneTone:

But using mods as ringtones is not possible, atleast yet.
