Title: A "burning" question...
Post by: Anthomatic on July 02, 2007, 12:38:44 PM
Hi everyone.

Which cd-burning software would you recommend for my setup?[/b]

The system I'm running is:
A1200 os3.0
030/40mhz
16mb fast ram
Lite-On CD-RW on a 4-way buffered IDE interface

Primarily, I just want to backup large files and valuable data but later I want to make cd-r's that will run animations/music from script files. Not sure if that's any different when it comes to burning a cd?

Thanks in advance!

MakeCD is free and will do the job.
If you want to burn to DVD's as well as CD's, There is FryingPan.
Obviously, you will need a DVD writer for that.
FryingPan is easier to use and still being updated, but you will have to pay.
Very good program though.

I'll give MakeCD a go for now because I'll be sticking to just burning cd's for a while. FryingPan sounds interesting tho.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
