The first programming article I ever (tried to) read was a piece on Boolean Logic in Compute (or Compute's Gazette) written by the great Jim Butterfield.

Jim was a great man. I met him in 89, he will be missed. His Commodore books and articles were legendary. He made the original Commodore PET a success..
