Title: Whabang goes redneck...
Post by: whabang on June 29, 2007, 02:49:25 PM
Yep!
Got myself a nice old apartment in the middle of nowhere (Klippan if anyone's interested, yay! now I can start a local miggy club with Dan :-P).

Unfortunately, all the ADSL and VDSL slots in the phone station are already taken, so I won't get any Internet access for a while (I'm not even going to bother with dial-up).

Unless I magically manages to get on-line with my 486 laptop and my cell phone, I won't be around for a few weeks (or months) depending on how long it takes until an ADSL slot is freed up.

Just in case anyone wondered (considering my latest topic in this forum). I'm well, not dead, and I most certainly will be back. If nothing else, I will be have to be getting me one of them WWAN thingies.

Now, back to using that 486 for what it's really for: Playing Monkey island!

Get your arse off of my couch! ;-).

Hang tight and you're wrong about what 486s are for btw, they're meant for playing Doom!

I tried, but the LCD on that thing is too lousy for fast-paced action games. :-D

It's definitely not for surfing. Slooooooow!!!
