Quite a while ago now i submitted a link to this site with news saying morphos runs with no trouble on an amigaone board ,can anyone tell me if you can still do this with the later releases of morphos i was just wondering as i have my a1 board i thought i might give it a try . :-) ?
-
No it won't run, but not due to MorphOS or the A1-HW, but due to PPCBoot/UBoot.
The old news item said that it had been done by flashing the Pegasos-OF onto the A1.

Ok thanks when i sell some of my amiga,s and sell one of my pc,s i might have the room for a pegasos i am interested in getting one sometime when the new boards are out .

I'm sure there's a couple of religions you've offended with your question :-)

Interesting thread. Is it possible to post a "how to"? :-)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... :-D :-D :-D :-) :-) :-P :-P :-P
Interesting idea though... flashing an A1 with OF...
lets think about this for a bit....
Pegasos is cheaper than an A1... so if one had a Pegasos and wanted to run AOS4 on it... maybe he could flash the Peg with the UBoot firmware... :-P

A very valid question.
Seems to me that ppl with A1 are sick and tired of waiting for something, which with any luck, will be released just before christmas this year.
And then on the other hand, you have MOS and the peggy, which have been running for some time now.
And a lot cheaper.
Well I can se why you would want to run MOS on the A1, then atleast you woould have an "amiga" system
