My ex girlfriend, seeing my hobby (collecting old computers, and Amiga/C= die-hard fan), used to call me Nerdu during almos the 4 year of our relationship, which ended in a tragical way 6 months ago
Now, im dating anothe nice & lovely girl.
In our second date, i told her about my Amiga passion, she smiled and answered me inmediately: you are a complete freak!!
So, my questin is: am i freak or nerd? OR both?
What do you guys consider yourself/are seeing by others?
Am i the only one?
:-D :-D :-D

And for anybody who doesn't see the resemblance between the picture of Caterpillar-Moto with the biffing material I posted for Speel on page 1 of this thread, have a look here (http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm244/motorollin/aorg/hair.jpg).

What's the difference between north and south considering looks and culture and so, in Australia?

As I understand it, much the same as it is in the UK - heavy industries (and lots of farming/inbreeding) to the north and a much more rough and ready culture as a result.
 :-P ;-)

Speelgoedmannetje wrote:

Each city/state has a vastly different persona. Only up North will you find the stereotypical rough as guts Fosters drinking Aussie. Here in Melbourne, the majority of the population is nothing like that. You want to know something really funny, hardy anybody down here actually drinks Fosters
edit...Hehe, beaten to it...by a bloody pom :-P ;-)

I always heard it was the South West that suffered from inbreeding.

I thought nobody really drank Fosters in Australia, isn't it just on tap for the tourists and backpackers? =)

TBH, I can't even remember seeing it on tap, not in Melbourne anyway. Each state has its own local brew that you'll find pretty much everywhere. In Victoria, its VB, Tasmania, its Boags or Cascade, in NSW, its Hahn (I think) and up North, its XXXX. Personally, I'm hooked on Pure Blonde, however, its all pointless banter as the Fosters Group (http://www.fosters.com.au/enjoy/beer.htm) own most of them anyway.
