Title: A2000 - no expansions
Post by: McVenco on June 13, 2007, 09:59:49 AM
After selling off my GVP 030 I'm left with a bog standard A2000 which I don't have much use for, so if anyone is interested it's up for the grabs.

It's got a 1.3 and 3.1 ROM chip, 512kB chip RAM and 1 (one) floppy drive, nothing else. Last time I switched on the machine it gave some errors on startup (green screens) so I think it needs some chips being reseated or replaced (CIA perhaps?).

Will ship worldwide, but I doubt it's realistic since the costs will go sky-high. For a picture, check my photo's on this site. The case isn't yellowed, and very minor yellowing on the keyboard.

If anyone wants to trade for a non-yellowed, non-expanded late revision A500 (with the wide C= Amiga 500 logo) I'll be a very happy chappy.

After all, I think it WAS me who got the accelerator card :) lol
I'd quite like another A2000 to put it in ^_^

You're both right, partly... The abovementioned GVP card went to BinoX (via Ebay), and Andeda got my A2630 card :-)

@BinoX: PM will follow shortly. Did you get the GVP card working, by the way?

Yeah.. The card works alright.. The oscilator didn't work right so I replaced it with an identical one...

I don't really have the space for it and I'm sure my fianceƩ will give me an earful for getting more stuff... But hopefully she won't notice :D

I'll have a site about my amigas up soon, when I get this one off you I'll get some cards in it and put it on there :)
