Hi
I'm just wondering what sort of cooling other ppc owners have in a tower case?
Since i have just got a ppc i was just wondering if i should have more cooling rather than the standard small fan on the board?

I know someone who uses water cooling 8-)

I have the standard fan on the CSPPC. I probably should change it, but i'm too scared to risk breaking the tiny PPC chip.

on my two csppc's , I have changed both their fans with new 12v ones that are better...
on the 060 of one there is a large heatsink and on the other's 060 there is a low-height heatsink and on that the original 5v ppc fan...
on a tower, just have a large 80x80mm fan blowing air on the whole ppc board... it will keep it happy!

Hmm i see,i wonder if i should install a fan/heatsink on the 060 chip??
My amiga seems to crash while playing mp3 via warpup,i heard this could be due to over heating.

If u r using it in a tower, simply open the side panel and touch the surface of the chip when mr Guru visits u. If the 060 goes hot, it's time to glue a heatsink on it.
Simple like that.
