Well, the tipsy part might have you forgetting it's Amiga Inc. which means...... they haven't ACTUALLY paid a dime!! ;-) Imagine that and they probably never will.
They are suppose to make a $2.5 million dollar ballon payment in 1 month from now (July 2007).
When the City of Kent contacted Amiga Inc. to make sure this was going to "really" happen Bill Mc2Face said of course, well, that is of course once 3 of the investors approves it and 2 already have, but one is traveling and unavailable. Imagine that again....
My guess is they will never pay anything and they Kent will just end up finding someone else to go to for the naming rights which will really be no big deal for the City of Kent. Amiga gets a little publicity for free. And same old story in Amigaland. One side saying Amiga Inc. are crooks and the other side saying Amiga Inc. had the money and good intentions, but for unforseable reasons the deal couldn't go through for timing reason or whaterver lame excuse.
Lots of imagining....

Mc2face - that was a good one.

Mc2face - that was a good one.
I liked the guy in the begining.
He lied. I thought about why he lied, unforseable things happen. Dotcom bust. Etc. Fine. Still liked the guy. He lied. He lied. He lied.
I finally gave up.
I don't like the guy. He just keeps lieing.
I just don't like the guy now. I feel very similar about BBRV. I think he has lied/missled. He continues to do it. He much more slick about it, but he is dishonest too. It's pretty lame what blood suckers took over and it really is too bad. So, it's fun in a sick way to watch it play out, but at the end of the day it's about the good old times and really has nothing to with the current losers and situation. At somepoint they'll suck it all dry and they'll leave, of that I'm pretty sure. And maybe if we're lucky we'll have something left to rebuild. If not we'll still have our old machines to play with.
