Post by: Brent on June 06, 2007, 07:39:58 AM
making music on Amiga1200 with a few upgrades   using Octamed for the tracker/sequencer & DSS 3 FOR sampling.Im still an apprentice about 5years since started with a 500 but have pumped out a few songs.A cheaper alternative and has a sound of its own?I dont use a soundcard and do like it that way but someone could convince me other.AMIGA MUSIC MAD.Totally original not niteclubby crap.the less serious the better the music i make,i also dabble with musicline,303acid,sfx,protracker.    :-D

Im not very knowledgable with using internet, how do i go about putting a song on the net,i use a laptop for the internet and my amiga for music.I just record my songs from my amiga thru a mixer to an audio cd recorder, nothing to flash just a small setup.Like i said im still learning but im always openminded to suggestions, thanx

Sound Studio has the capability of mixing songs to 16bit 44khz Stereo WAVs, which you can then either burn to CD or MP3 directly, then upload to your favourite free host.

Cheers,

Hi Brent,

OctaMED introduced me to writing music and is still my all-time favourite music programme, although I now do most of my recording on the Mac with Logic Express.

Nothing beats OctaMED for knocking out an idea, in my opinion.

Too bad its Amiga-destiny was sealed by wrong developer-decision.
