Success!!!
For all of you who have not yet downloaded (and donated to) Amikit to use on your Windows PC's so you can run our beloved AmigaOS in its best configuration, stop reading this right now and go do it.
I am typing this using IBrowse demo from AmiKit running on Windows XP Pro, which is installed via BootCamp on my new Black Mac Book.
I have had trouble trying to get AmiKit installed on my Dell XPS, but with only a few hang ups, I was able to complete the installation and upgrade to the latest v.1.35 of AmiKit.
It is great having my favorite OS running (even if it is via emulation) on my favorite laptop hardware.
Amiga Forever! :-D

Congrats on the new MacBook :-) Out of interest, why are you running UAE under XP rather than the far superior OSX?

Good question! I have tried to run EUAE and Hi Toro to run AmigaOS on the MacOS X with no luck. In fact I don't think I ever got AmigaOS to boot once on OSX after several attempts.
I will be using WinXp for running AmiKit/AmigaOS3.9 ++ and for my CAD program that is not available for MacOS and for navigation software from DeLorme until my Mac-Mini arrives and gets installed in my Dodge Nitro SUV as my "Carputer", and for running remote desktop so I can work from anywhere I can get a highspeed internet connection.
I could probably use a MacOS remote desktop client, if I knew of one to connect to the work computer, I will have to check that out.
I am in electronic toy heaven at the moment with some recent purchases and I am so lucky to be able to work away from the office as an independent consultant and programmer. You all should be so lucky after you retire (some of you probably already are).

Fair enough. I didn't have much luck with EUAE/Hi-Toro either. WinUAE is much easier to set up. I gave up trying to get EUAE working on my MacBook, and refuse to boot in to XP on my Mac for anything other than Eve-Online :-)
Have fun with your new toy :-D

@moto,
You must try AmiKit on your MacBook, it is awesome. The people working on AmiKit have my thanks, respect and will in a few minutes have my second donation. I can't wait until they complete a script to update all my "Classic" (read real) Amigas to look and operate like the AmiKit emulated Amiga.
I love my MacBook, and even more so now that I have AmigaOS 3.9 and AmiKit installed onto it.

Funny cos I just ran both AIB and Amiga Forever 2005 on EUAE/Hi-Toro on my Macbook Pro. And it's really fast. All you really need are the ROM files and the Hard Drive directories.

Try my intel build of E-UAE...

Did you get rid of the Toyota, that was pretty nice.
