hello! I've found a little bit annoying to turn off the A1200 with the button of the power suply. So, there's any program to reset the computer via software?
thanks!

Three finger salute doesn't work?

There are tons of programs that reset the system. There's one on Workbench Install floppy for example.
But I guess you mean powering off? No such thing with standard A1200 and Amiga PSU.

Judging by your other post, I'm guessing you don't yet know what the Amiga's three-finger salute is. Hold down Ctrl and the two Amiga keys (next to the Alt keys) to do a soft reset. And as Piru said, there are a bazillion different programs to do it as well.

If you own a Mediator and ATX PSU- Elbox provide the PowerOff software to shut down the Amiga.

I was not aware of one that was included on any Commodore-Amiga OS software disks, what is the program called?
Aminet has a bunch...

There's one on the OS3.9 (maybe OS3.5 too) install CD which makes the system reboot after the installer is finished. It's called "reboot" but I can't recall exactly where it is on the CD.

C/Reboot
It's used by the installer.

Reboot is in the Install-Tools draw on the OS3.9 CD.
I use it on the FKey program in Tools/Commodoties

What's the point? The Amiga already has a keyboard shortcut to reboot...
