“I don’t want to be in hardware because you can’t make money that way,” McEwen said of the switch.

it's clear the Bill does not want to be in the hardware martket....you guys dreaming of new amigas won't get them. Or is bill just making things up again?

The good news is you will be able to learn how to make spreadsheets!

Amiga has plans to use Kent as an incubator, where people will be able to come in and create video games, word processors or spreadsheets or even taking red eye out of a digital camera, McEwen said.

this sounds fantastic, (IF you have no idea how to use a computer...or have lived in a cave of the last 20 years!)

He said HE (AINC) stays away from HW biz.

Clever, IMHO. You have others taking care about that while you lead or at least try to lead some OS/SW development. The problem could arise if those HW makers can't get their figures straight...did someone said licencing?

After reading "The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore" I was never more convinced in my over 10 yrs thought that CBM/A took a wrong turn keeping HW R&D and retail inside core enterprise.

Ahh, it's time to take my pills, I'm starting to lose it already...
