Title: So what's the upshot?
Post by: El_Duduarino on May 30, 2007, 08:03:54 AM
I've been coming back to this site every few years and poking my head around... I just checked the Amiga Inc Website and they have a new partnership with Vulcan now?

Does this mean we may see some new Amiga hardware? Will I ever see the Amiga back on the shelves?

 :-D

Hi

Amiga Inc is a lost cause.  All their products will remain vapourware.

Check out http://aros.sourceforge.net/ it has come a long way lately.  The best bit is that you can buy your next-gen Amiga hardware from any local computer store!

Vulcan is a software house. The partnership means releasing (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=46988) some of the old titles for windoze.

See here (http://merlancia.us/amiga-hyperion/?M=A) for some recent "news".
