Title: Anyone tried Ethernetting a PS2 and a PC ?
Post by: Agafaster on June 21, 2003, 08:39:42 PM
Yeah, I know it isnt exactly Amiga related, but we are visiting the wife's aunt, and they are having a spot of bovva with a the ethernet connection between the two.
the PC is an XP job with Broadband (!!) on a USB port, and the ethernet card is talking (or not) to the PS2.
I'm a bit duff on this sorta stuff, what do I need to do ?
essentially what we want is to use the PC as a Broadband firewall/hub/woteva for the PS2.
anyone help ?

you'll need a crossover cable if you're going net card to net card.

:edit:

Or you could buy a router.  It runs about $50.
