Title: Epic-interactive.....
Post by: Van_M on June 21, 2003, 07:32:59 AM
Is Epic-interactive intendending to port any of the non amiga games that they are working on, on the AmigaOne after the relase of os 4? Since they are porting on MorphOs, a re-porting on Os4 wouldn't be much of a problem, right? All of these games look great!!!

Since MOS is supposedly 100% AmigaOS3.1 compatible, the games *should* work on AmigaOS.  In fact, they probably even work on PPC-accelerated classics (don't have one, so I don't know).

While many, many old AmigaOS3.1 programs work on MorphOS, you cannot run MorphOS software on anything but MorphOS.

A similar example: While MS Windows is compatible with MS-DOS, you cannot run Windows applications within the MS-DOS environment.

jc and thomas s. of epic allready stated that they didnt release aos versions because there wasnt any hw + os combo suited for the games, when it does they will release it (the games)
