Carlo,
Just wondering, what browsers do you testdrive your site on? The english version just don't work on Firefox. The green-buttons are near impossible to hit the right way.

:lol:
I can sympathise.... my eyes hurt too every time I see this humongous background and the ryanair-like colour scheme
Seriously though, I don't want to discourage you because you seem to have spent a lot of time on this site, but you really need to rethink the design.
This is not simply a matter of individual taste - the current "design" gets in the way of practical matters like READING the text, finding the buttons etc
There are good reasons why bright, detailed, multicoloured backgrounds are not used on the web: they distract from the site's actual content (as well as taking ages to load) - if you really need to keep these backdrops then you could perhaps dither them, blur them, greyscale them or somehow reduce their information content - it's just too much for human brains to take in...
I managed to click my way through to the CD32 page (like someone else said - this is nearly impossible to do on Firefox) - that page isn't that bad actually! Good work on that one ;) - it's much less of an assault on the sensory system - and could perhaps be a good model of how to maintain the distinctive retro look while making the site usable by humans...

@Carlo:
My offer still stands.
Check the other thread for the examples.

Dude, I'm just going to be blunt and honest. You need to go to a bookstore and buy yourself a book that teaches you how to design a website. I'm saying this becuase your site breaks every design rule and is utter {bleep}e.

@Carlo,
Hey man I really think its a great idea the site and the work you put into it, but honestly you need to rework a lot of it. One for example is the large JPG background, two the fly over on your link buttons need to be redone. If you need some help let me know and i can help you as much as my extra time will allow. Thank you for the time and effort you have been putting in, even though a lot of negative things are being said I think you are moving along the right track

Thank you!!! Theese words are very kindly!!
I know i'm a beginner...but i have a great Amiga and Commodore passion (in my life i'm a medical doctor, oncologist, so i'm far from web design..:( )
I'm trying also to organize in Rome another retro-meeting...
Rome has few retrocomputing Commodore events so i think it can be beautiful for many Commodore's fans...
A great good evening to all friends...

Wow in the medical field, thats awesome. Yeah I love my Amigas and Commodore also. Actually i did like your page on the Amiga CD32, pretty nice. What ya need now are screen shots of different games, box cover shots and so on. If you need some I can send some over your way, I only have about 20+ Amiga CD32 games (working on my collection), but would be glad to throw some screen grabs your way.
