Hi everyone, I'm new here, just recently got back from my parents house with all my old stuff, including 2 C64-D's 1 C64, 1541 Disk Drive, 1541-II Disk drive, both official models of the C64 dot matrix printer, 3 datasettes, and a crapload of games. Was wondering whether I should hold on to them or take it to the local Game Trader store.
The Amiga stuff I have I'm not quite willing to part with yet. Was wondering what you think i should do.
Thanks for your time.

The is a very controversial gentleman in the 8 bit commodore community nicknamed worldlam.
He pays good prices for pretty much all commodore 64/128 equipment.

Worldlam pays insane prices. I have more than Worldlam will ever have. :-o
Oh, I forgot I would never sell to him either. :-D

If you want to make a buck, put it on ebay. If you are interested in selling to an interested user, put it on one of the commodore boards.

I'd keep at least one of the systems and each peripheral, thats if you are planning to sell it.

Thanks for the reply
Why is he so controversial?

Worldlam has been buying stuff on eBay and has been extrmely agressive.
He fought auctions with some items ballooning completely out of proportion pricewise.

Hi Musaku.
What country are you in. I'm in Perth, Western Australia, and am usually looking out for C= 64 systems.
As to what you 'should' do, that's just a matter of what you enjoy doing. I still use my amigas for occaisional games, but that's about it. I use C= 64's for music though.
Cheers,
Oli.

people choose to do what they wish with their money so dont judge what people pay because they can afford it and you cannot.

maybe he's trying to buy ALL commodore items in world creating a shortage, so he could sell them at even higher price! :-D

I am not judging, just explaining.
Anyways, worldlam contributes to make the Commodore 8 bit market a seller's market. So, if he's around, it a good time to sell...
