My new computer area at the new house makes it real hard to have my peg conneted with my Mac G5 tower. I want to use a KVM switch to have both using the same keyboard and mouse. the monitor has 2 inputs so its easy there. The only problem is my Mac uses USB for the keyboard and mouse and the Peg is PS2 for the keyboard. Has anyone see a way to connect a USB keyboard with a KVM switch to a Peg using PS2 and a Mac using USB?
any links to one that will do this would be a big help!
Basicly I need USB in to PS2 and USB out...

You can always throw away your mac keyboard, get a ps/2 one, and use a ps/2 to usb adapter on your mac.

Yeah, but the Mac keyboard is so nice!! There has to be a way to do this...

It's messy, and involves some cheap adapters but:
Keyboard - KVM:
USB keyboard ----- USB to PS/2 convertor (like this (http://www.ted-kyte.com/3D/Pictures/Adaptor%20PS2%20-%20USB.jpg)) ----- KVM switch IN
KVM - Mac:
KVM switch OUT1 ----- PS/2 Male-Male cable ----- PS/2 to USB convertor (like this (http://www.cablesdirect.com/prodimages/USB-PS2F_LR.jpg)) ----- MAC USB port
KVM - Peg:
KVM Switch OUT2 ----- PS/2 Male-Male cable ----- Peg PS/2 port
Assuming the USB keyboard can also function as a PS/2 device this should do the trick I think ;-)

If you don't need to switch the monitor: why not use a simple&cheap USB switchbox and go PS/2 after switching?

Use a software KVM?

A VNC Server running on the Peg and X2VNC running on the MAC will do what you want.
You computers have to be networked of course.

Someone gave me a new KVM switch. Here's link if anyone wants it:

It's USB-based for keyboard and mouse but also does VGA switching. I have an Amiga and Atari hooked up to my PC so it won't work with that.

I had a belkin KVM swithc that did both PS/2 AND USB. It had a way to conver the signals inside the switch. I had a PC, Mac and Amiga all running off of this just fine. The Keyboard was PS/2 and the Mouse was USB...
Sorry, don't know the name of it....

I think that one on auction also does Mac and Sun Solaris according to the box but I don't have those systems with which to try out. I doubt it works on the old B&W Macs as those did not have any USB nor VGA connectors.
