I see the pII card has two jumpers...
anyone knows what for?
I assume "jumper B" when closed forces segmented mode, what "A" does???
thanks!!!

1 MB? But on my PII+ there is just one 3pin block to change segmented/1MB/2MB - all open is default 2 MB non-segmented.

Jumper A is for sex, jumper B is for free beer.

“Never EVER mess with a jumper you don’t know about, even if it’s labeled ‘sex and free beer’.” —Dave Haynie
That quote may not be the exact wording that Dave wrote, but close enough. :-)
The quote's origin was from early discussion about the 2/8MB CHIP jumper on the A4000 motherboard.

There are actually 3 jumpers on some versions the Picasso II (v1.4/v1.6)
JP301 - Just off the photo in the bottom right of the photo.
JP401 - Jumper A
JP402 - Jumper B

You'd be correct.
The numbering on the Jumpers is not consistant throughout the different versions of Picasso II so take care.
V1.0 cards have another jumper ST101 over the left hand side near the RAM chips. Again it's purpose is unknown.
