So the decision has been made, after not using it for 10+ years the Amiga has to go to make space for more shoes..... ;-) (Well actually the money will go into my Laptop Fund)
Should I split it up into the separate components or sell as one job lot?
A1200 with massive 64mb hard drive and SCSI interface.
Memory expansion trapdoor board with FPU and RTC.
Accelerator (I'll have to prise it out of the trapdoor or see if I can find the box to see which one it is)
SCSI CD Rom
SCSI Syquest removable drive (Takes 135mb disks)
A few games like chaos engine, pinball etc (wonder what happened to the rest of them?)
Certainly splitting up some camera stuff I sold on eBay recently paid dividends but you do see complete systems being sold for a fair few quid........
Any advise appreciated

Well, for the US market (may be different in the UK), personally I'd sell it in two or maybe three lots.
The only thing I might split by itself would be the accelerator, along with any specific RAM you might have for it.
I'd put the trapdoor FPU/RAM card back in the A1200 (I'm assuming it's not being used right now, as you state there is an accelerator currently in the machine) and sell it together with the odds and ends of software, as a good retro starter system.
Also throw in the SCSI CD ROM, SYQUEST and the rest into the A1200 system lot, if the A1200 still has SCSI after removing the accelerator. If not, throw those into a 3rd lot, but I wouldn't expect to get much (if anything) for those under any conditions. They are way to easy to scavenge for free out of systems people are throwing out every day.
Once again, though, that's a US view. Things are of different scarcity overseas.

Ilwrath's suggestion sounds pretty good.
What is the accelerator, if it's an 040, 060 or PPC board then you could get a fair amount for it on eBay.
Whatever you decide to do with it post a link up in the Marketplace section, someone will give it a good home :-D

The accelerator is an Apollo????1230 Turbo with 2 X 8mb ram on board (I think!)

I think I will put this on eBay as a separate item and the rest as one lot.
Another reason I hesitate is that my auction will be restricted to "Collect Only" because the weight of the monitor will make postal charges prohibitive.......
