Picked up a sweeet A600 with a dead PSU!
Anyone got an extra?

A600 PSU on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Power-Packs-for-Amiga-600-heavy-type_W0QQitemZ110122153643QQihZ001QQcategoryZ98928QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem)
I've purchased stuff from "Amiga Retro Experience" on eBay before and can recommend him highly. Reasonable prices and fast delivery.

That would be great, except I live in the US and it would have to be a 110V 60Hz model.
They don't autoswitch, and he didn't specify 110 or 220
Plus I'd prefer to keep my devalued dollar in this hemisphere!

Also-
Will a Commodore 128 PSU work in it's place?
Thanks!

Any help at all???

The Amiga 500, 600 and 1200 all used the same powersupply.
I don't think you can use one from a Commodore 128.
Pins 3 and 5 on the 128 Powersupply put out 9V AC (according to http://www.technick.net/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=pinconmis_c128_power).
Pin 3 on the Amiga PS is +12V and pin 5 is -12V (according to http://www.ntua.gr/electronics/hwb/connector/power/amiga500power.html). Definately don't recommend it.
You should just keep a look out for either a 500, 600 or 1200 powersupply for sale or pick up a 500 with powersupply. If I'm not mistaken, many 500 powersupplies were better than the ones shipped with the later machines anyway.

I could have one for sale but i think that you are to far away..

When my A600's PSU died, I just removed the Amiga plug and cable from the brick and connected it to an old AT PSU. You can probably pick one up for nowt.
Not sure whether the AT gubbins can be crammed into the brick's plastic housing (if you want to retain the original look) - may give it a whirl some time.

Jep that is what i did to when my A1200 original PSU was overloaded because of all expansions. if i remember right the original A1200 PSU was 25W and now i have a 200W ATX psu connected to my A1200.

good idea, but this one will be a toy only...
Boot into demos, games, etc. Nothing too hard core, so a standard PSU is all I need!
Anyone got a spare one????
Heavy, light, the black one like with a A1200?
Or an adapter to use my CD32 PSU on it!
Thanks all.

Anything????

try Softhut, he might have one. Email him joe@softhut.com.

Why not hack an AT/ATX PSU instead? (http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/amiga_hacks/Amiga_Power_supplies/body_amiga_power_supplies.html#PC_PSU_Replacements)
It's might take a few hours, but once you've got it working you have a nearly unlimited supply of PSUs.
Maybe someone could make a simple ATX->Amiga 500/600/1200 adapter? AmigaKit? Jens? I'll buy a couple.
Edit: Nevermind, the author of the page sells them for €15.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Amigakit! They have them in stock.

AmigaKit's power supplies are for europe/UK. He needs a 110v one. maybe craiglist ?
-
Oops sorry. Didn't spot that he needed 110v. It might still be worth contacting Amigakit to see if they can source a 110v one.

We have 110v CD32 PSUs in stock and we will have high wattage 145W PSUs 110v in stock later this week.

A CD32 PSU will not mate to an A600, I checked!
No dice!
I already have a CD32 PSU, that works great on my CD32!!
