Title: Mediator Config problem
Post by: dbrads on May 11, 2007, 04:36:52 PM
Hi All,

 I am trying to configure a Mediator board (LT4) on my A1200T KS3.1, OS3.9, GVP68030 + 8MB, 3GB HD & CD.

Each time I run the config program I get a message saying:

PciInfo program cannot detect your mediator
 Change the mediator jumper

I have changed the jumper but the message remains the same.

I have cleaned the edge connector, tried with the accelerator  removed and even changed the HD to one with WB3.1. But it is still the same.

PciInfo version is 1.2 and PciLibrary is version 6.2.

Heeeelp

Have you connected power cables to the Mediator?

now that you mensioned this, I too have a similar problem with mine also saying can't find openpci.library on a few programs that I try to open. I have no clue!  know that it is installed where it needs to be in the latest vers.

Yes, the power is through the mediator, the system works fine just cant "see" the mediator.

If you search the yahoo group for Mediator, you will find lots of info relating to this problem.

The main one is that the graphics card isn`t fully home in the mediator. There are suggestions on how to fix this, including using washers to raise the height of the mediator so the card fits in properly.

It worked for me (until I ruined my miigy, see the thread "What have I done to my A1200 ? Aaargh!"

Yes, I have that problem "Cannot find openpci.library Vers (1?). Yet I know the correct version is installed. It happens mostly when I try to run Amplifier. Curious!

Yep, I tried all the jumpers in all the different poitions :-?
I have contacted Elbox and they have asked me to return the mediator to them for testing. Best I do that then!!
