Title: A4066
Post by: Ronky on June 18, 2003, 04:43:15 AM
Hi...

I got an A4066 working between my A4000 and the (yuk) winxp laptop. I've got up to 22 kb/s when transmiting between both computers, but i've been told it could be better if "full duplex" is activated.

I use Miami DX and MNI driver for it, I haven't touch the jumpers inside the board cuz I got no manual (I saw the amiga.hardware.com page to see wot they do). But since am not LAN-WISE I thought I should ask some help from any of you guys ;)

So, any help in settin up this will be apreciated. I'm using:

Ethernet X cable
3Com 10/100 ethernet on PC side
A4066 on Amiga side
Miami DX with MNI driver
Windows XP

Duplexing means it transmits and recieves at the same time... Thus performance wouldn't really be affected if you're just transfering files or accessing the net.
