hello everyone. I'm just wondering how to make working my Amiga 1200 at 60hz. I readed somewhere that it was possible via software but I haven't found the solution.
thank you very much!

Just press both mouse buttons while booting the 1200, and in the early boot screen, press a key and it will change to 60hz if i'm not mistaken.. :s

press ''space''

thank you very much! I cannot test it till next week. I'll tell you something!
thanks again! :) I'm very excited about seeing it at 60hz because all my computers and consoles have that frequency.

You might find that it doesn't stay that way. If the NTSC monitor driver is in Devs/Monitors, and you select and save a 60Hz mode using Prefs/Screenmode, then it should display at 60Hz.

thank you meega, I will also check it.

hello! I have finally checked and it works!
thank you very much my friends.

Hi
This sounds very much what I would like to do. I am trying to find a hack, setting, hardware mod to turn a 1200 Pal computer into a NTSC computer. Other than replacing the power supply is there anything else I need?

Surf the web and find Warren Block s A1200 FAQ, there it mentions a hack that can be done by cutting a resistor of the mobo.
