Howdy,
The Supra A500 Hard drive (40 meg with 4mb ram) I bought from EBay last week arrived today. I'm having issues attaching to my 1.3 Rom A500. The machine had no mods and, in fact, I bought it with the factory seals intact.
I opened the A500 interface and found the Supra memory board loose. Pushed it into place and the machine's power light stopped cycling...it's a steady light but there is no access to the Supra hard drive. Nor will a bootable floppy boot the machine.
Anyone have experience with the Supra drive and can offer some suggestions I'd more than welcome them. I'm hoping I didn't get a $120 doorstop!

Problem solved. Turns out it takes FOREVER to boot, but it does finally boot up. Problem solved! I've got a sweet little A500 with 3 megs of ram and a 40 mb scsi drive! Nice for the old games!
