Title: I made it ! Os3.1 is installed !

I finally made it !!! I got OS3.1 installed under E-UAE on my iMac running Mac OS X Tiger.

Now I ofcourse wonder... Wenn I try to run my OS3.9 it says all the time.:

Try to unpack it with Unarc, and then try again.

Why's that ? ...

Oh yea... And can E-UAE installed Workbench3.1 run .lha files ?
and can I surf the web from OS3.1 ?

Os3.9 is not lha files, unless its pirated then...

I have a cd wich looks very orig, but it contains .lha files  :-o

Damn ! I'm been scamed ! ... I'll then just have to kill this eBay dude  :evil:

The original Os3.9 cd comes with an installer. Just pop the cd in and run it from within os 3.1. No packed files.

Riiiiiiight ;-)

Just in case: Yes, there are a few pirated OS3.9 CD's on file sharing networks.  I admit having downloaded a few, but none of them were complete.  Files were missing, paths were wrong or missing, cd/mount names mismatch, etc.

If you want 3.9, you're better off with an original.  It's not that expensive, 380 DKK...

I bought it on eBay for 150DKK ... Hmmm... I'll try again... *LOL*

Os 3.5 is even cheaper...
