Title: Scanmagic scanner
Post by: swift240 on May 04, 2007, 09:27:22 PM
Hi all,
I went into the local charity shop and got myself a Scanmagic 600dpi scanner.
It uses the Printer port.
I dont need this for me PC as I use a Lexmark 1180 to scan and print.
I got it for the Amiga in the hope I could actualy use it.
I have tried Aminet and there is a driver there for most scanners, so I shall be giving thta a try tomorrow when I have more time to spare.
But in the mean time has any one used this type of scanner? If so where did you get the drivers from?
I am trying Google at the moment but nothing much is coming up.

TIA,
Mike.

I used to use a parallel port Epson scanner with software from Power Computing, but I can't remember much more than that. Its probably around here somewhere  :-)
