Title: Online petition.

Fans of the Amiga platform

I have created an online petition in the hope that it may make Amiga Inc and Hyperion Entertainment see sense and work together rather than fight each other.

Waste of time, the knob it charge (Michael Carrillo) is removing signatures what are not arse licking.

In his own words

Quote
fine, don't sign, don't register your protest. Sit in the corner and don't say anything.

Well, I have allowed other posts on there,

I just don't think you are allowed a vote yet, you have yet to grow up. Posting endless Mary Poppings signitures is not what I would call "Mature" and certainly does not appear to be from a person who can be deemed fit to participate in society.

Also, wishing I die of cancer and calling me a child molester will get you no where.

Now run along sonny, before someone gets an ASBO on you.

Claim: Signing and circulating online petitions is an effective way of remedying important issues.

Status: False.

Origins: These past few years have seen the birth of an Internet phenomenon: the e-petition. It offers instant comfort to those outraged by the latest ills of the world through its implicit assurance that affixing their names to a statement decrying a situation and demanding change will make a difference. That assurance is a severely flawed one for a multitude of reasons.

@Mikey_C

I hope your going to provide some proof to back up your accusations?.

Also the petition is nonsense, hyperion has tried to bend over Amiga Inc and screw them but failed and now it have come back to haunt them. How anyone can still defend and support them is a mystery, especially now after finding out they (hyperion) are the ones to blame for OS4`s frozen in time approach.

Mikey give it up, the people you have blindly brown nosed for many years have turned around (again) and shat on you. Even the true uncontrollable die hards have not even commented (says it all).

Better go back to amigans, the reality here is scary and will give you nightmares.

glittering as far as i see you are the main(possibly only) shatter. while the rest are waiting to see what the real truth is. so far we have heard ainc's side but there is still another side to hear from and then the judge will rule on this. until this happens i for one will reserve my judgement since i don't want to have to eat my words.

Yes a troll because i wont blindly defend hyperion. Reverse the situation and Amiga Inc tried to screw over hyperion, you guys would be slagging of Amiga Inc worse.

Is there anyone in possession of the facts in the Hyperion vs. Amiga Inc lawsuit?  I have never been a fan of AInc, and know nothing about Hyperion.  I was just curious as to see what info is out there.  That way I can make an informed decision before screaming about it.

Rich Woods has graciously been collecting the court documents and hosting them all here:

An online petition?

That's bound to fix it!

If it's that easy, why hasn't anybody thought of online petitions to cure cancer, solve world hunger, have Bono and Al Gore taken out the back and shot, and to exterminate people who drive around in clear weather with fog lamps illuminated?

I agree with Glittering. 110% and I am an old amiga.org user.
If the situation provided here WAS reversed, most of the active talkers here would be all over A Inc like a very bad rash.

I too would like to see the other side and have the truth come out but in all fairness, after seeing proof of payments and deadlines missed, it's looking more and more like A Inc are the loosers here along with the community it has tried to be a part of. No wonder it's always short of funds, can't even get a product out it payed for. We shall see.. ..

Can't say I disagree. No reason to come down so hard on Glittering until we have _ALL_ the facts.
